This 3 day workshop series will take place over 3 weeks and you will learn how to incorporate Ayurveda’s basic guidelines into your daily life for your body type to increase energy levels, improve gut health and help you reach your weight goals with greater ease. Each class will be divided into lecture and hands on activity. We will be covering the following:
• Learn about your body type (Dosha) and what makes you tick
• Prepare homemade Ghee
• Discover the how the shifts in seasons creates shifts in digestion and what foods can most aggravate gut health when eaten outside of their season.
• Make your own digestive herbal formula to keep your tummy happy as the Holidays approach.
• Use the Circadian Rhythm to create a personal routine to strengthen gut health, promote better sleep and increase weight loss
• How to incorporate self massage to increase lymphatic flow, calm the nerves, and increase mental alertness.

Creating a Personal Routine (Dinacarya)
Dinacarya is translated as healthy routines and are an important part of ayurveda, emphasizing prevention while creating balance. In this class we will discuss morning routines, oil pulling, benefits of cooked water, as well as abhyanga (self oil massage), Nasya (nasal lubrication), ear lubrication and the impact of the seasons on our routines.

The Simplified Science of Your Gut
Probiotics, the latest dieting trend (intermittent fasting), pesticides in our food supply and what the heck is Ayurveda? We will explore these topics and how the seasons, digestive strength and nourishment from foods specific to individual body type impacts overall health.

Fall Seasonal Digestion Reset
Although there are set dates for the cleanse, remember that each is individually based so you have the ability to adjust the dates to work best for you.
This 3 Phase cleanse allows digestion to take a break and reset. It includes an initial Ayurvedic Consultation 1.5 hours. A starter pack of food and spices customized and based on goals and imbalances discussed at consult will be provided. You will also be provided with a collection of recipes to be prepared for each time of day to eat and specific routines to follow during the day to optimize weightloss, sleep and promote renewal for the new season.
We will check in by email weekly and if any questions arise during we will schedule a time to speak. You will also be given a Wellness Plan at the conclusion of the cleanse.
The reset ends with a therapy session that will be determined during Phase 2. Possible therapies are Shirodhara, Garshana, Pinda Svedhana or energy healing.
